Kristin Scott Thomas´s Face (first draft)

They have consumed their innocence and time.
Within thick colors and wet browns,
they sense hope in the future - their illusion.
They shall initiate whatever voyage and depart.

Like eroded gamblers, they resign to the prize
of a sojourn of one more night
with the threatening sea, nearby.

At farewell, they shall embrace this low-key face:
a vehicle for knowledge, training their hearts
with tiny doses of electrical shocks.

They will carry away this face as a solace:
a plain bordering woods and lakes,
hiding in a labyrinth to prepare for the reception
of the word they have been waiting for since ages.
