Layers
of Your Self (first draft)
Here is a crowd
with no confidence in theater.
It believes we want to devour each other
- as in former time –
Our desires are
common, egoistical and outrageous:
To understand that our past copies are un-retrievable.
We want to reproduce
ourselves
as old people,
with the power of a horse and a mare,
and without wisdom.
“On each day
they came and took
a little of the brightness of your skin …
At the end of your
days
you denied your new self
and your past self.
You were made a
hostage
in a faraway region
within another self.”
